How do you comfort someone who is suffering because people they love are factually burning in hell? Do you say "well, at least they deserve it"? Do you say "well at least they will suffer forever"? Do you say"Sure, they were great people and that's why you love them, but I am better!"?
The only possibility of comfort I see here is saying - forget about the people you love who are burning in hell and just enjoy being with me. That is a valid answer, but if you accept it, then I say you never loved those people you are forgetting in the first place.
