This is the thing Atheists have to try to understand, for all their talk of love, theists are bewildered by love and completely fail to understand love.
That will finally be their downfall.
Practicing
Jews, Christians, and Muslims believe in heaven, but the concept of
heaven is incompatible with the concept of love. So you can't really
belong to a judeo-Christian religion if you understand love.
If
Judeo-Christians can be made to understand love, they will reject the
concept of heaven and that leaves little incentive to be a
Judeo-Christian.
